A Wedding Styled Shot

Tanja + Felix, Nadine + Ömer

When the topic of a wedding styled shoot came up I was happy to find that Nadine & Ömer and Tanja & Felix wanted to be my bridal couples for the day. I had captured the newborn home story of little Mylène and her parents and had already captured Tanja & Felix in a love story shoot, so I new they were fun and beautiful couples.

Wedding planner Katha from evation Rheinbach had offered to organize the styled shoot and therefor organized a stylist, a florist and the location. I borrowed the stunning dresses from Lilly in Cologne and they fit perfectly. My “brides” looked amazing in them.

We chose the 3/4 length dress for Tanja to make her able to move a bit and the long dress for Nadine. Annette did a wonderful job with the hair and make-up and they really looked like brides. Thanks, Annette!

We wanted to capture some candid bridal portraits away from the haste of the wedding day and as I chose real couple that are totally crazy about each other I could work my “normal” magic like I do in couple sessions or wedding day shoots. It was important to me not to chose models but couples that show real emotion and act naturally.

Thanks to all that were involved, it was total fun and more than worth it!
